Scotch Corner Standard Poodles

Scotch Corner Emma Woodhouse (by AKC GCH Canada CH Artisan's Great Expectations Von Avion “Pip” out of Scotch Corner Elizabeth Elizabeth Bennet CA) has been bred to CH Callasterns Blackjacks Dazzling Legacy RN CGC (“Deezel”). Puppies are expected late July 2023 and will go home 8-10 weeks after birth. Deposits are being accepted.

Through her sire AKC GCH Canada CH Artisan's Great Expectations Von Avion (CH Avion Aviator x Avion Concordia) Emma is related to a bloodline that is very winning right now. Her granddam on her sire’s side, Avion Concordia “Connie,” and CH Afterglow Halifax Hightide Hedonist “Boomer” share the same sire, Avatar Concord.

Color:

Emma had two black and four cream puppies. As of now on Day 4, two are reserved. Color/sex and new owner matching will take place when the puppies are older.

Suitability:

Of course, I expect these pups to make great pets, and one or two may have AKC conformation potential. They will be coming from a gluten-free home, so they could suit gluten detection service, as well as other service/therapy roles. Last, Emma spends as many hours as allowed intently smelling things in our yard, so her pups may have their mother’s affinity for nose work.

Health Testing:

Emma has “normal” elbow and “good” hips, which you can see on OFA. She also has clear tests for sebaceous adenitis, heart, Von Willebrands, degenerative myelopathy, and neonatal myelopathy.

Deezel’s comprehensive health testing is on OFA. He has CHIC certification and VGL testing. His hips are OFA “excellent.”
